Who we are
Our gîtes in Touraine: Benjamin and Nathalie
Benjamin is a designer and an architect’s son. Born in Canada, he grew up in Australia and has lived in France for almost 30 years. A keen DIY enthusiast with a green streak, he designed the house himself, backed by his many contacts in the world of architecture.
Nathalie looks after the gîtes. Born in South Africa, she grew up in Asia, but her roots are in Touraine. She knows the region very well and will be delighted to help you discover it.
We were married in the church of Chemillé-sur-Indrois, right opposite Pamoja… As you can imagine, we jumped at the chance when the house came on the market, despite its poor condition!
Our four children, now grown up, inspired us to design the house around space and family life. We also have all the baby equipment you need: let us know if you are coming with children!
Il Molino di Carpenosa: Max and Karolina
Il Molino di Carpenosa belongs to Nathalie’s parents, Max and Karolina, who fell in love with Liguria in 2004.
At the time the mill was just a ruin: they restored it to make it the holiday home it is today, on the banks of the Argentina mountain stream.
